We are hiring a Mechatronics Engineer

💼 Your role

You’ll ideate, design, manufacture, and deploy core mechatronics systems on our robot - spanning custom robot arms, custom grippers, and custom cleaning tools. By joining the first team in the world desiging from first principles how a robot should clean commercial spaces, you are going to heavily rely on your creativity and determination to solve problems in unconventional ways.

🤖 You

• 3+ years of experience building complex electro-mechanical system that required many iterations to get right
• Have hands-on experience with most of the following:
  • CAD software (e.g. Onshape)
  • PCB design software (e.g. KiCad)
  • Aluminum and steel manufacturing
  • Fluid systems (pumps, valves, nozzles)
  • Actuation systems (motors, gearboxes, controller boards)
  • CAN
  • Python, C/C++
• Bonus
  • You have built a custom articulated robot (e.g. robot arm, leg, quadruped robot, humanoid)
