We are hiring a Founding Robotics Engineer

💰 CHF 60-90k + 1-3% equity
💼 Your role
You will work across the autonomy stack to improve our optimization-based controllers and our end-to-end learned pipeline. You’ll be setting up experiments in both simulation and on hardware; You’ll spend time debugging, tuning, and figuring out the practical challenges of sim-to-real transfer, data collection and model evaluation. Expect to move between high-level design and hands-on implementation.
🤖 You
- Consider yourself independent and unstoppable.
- Have built optimization-based controllers for robotic manipulation.
- Have hands-on experience training end-to-end models for robotics tasks, whether for manipulation, perception, or control, and ideally having pushed those models onto real hardware at some point.
- Are familiar with some of the tradeoffs involved in choosing and integrating sensors for autonomy (both classic and end-to-end learned pipelines); you've likely had to figure out what was missing when things didn’t work.
- Are comfortable working with modern robotics tools: ROS 2, C++, Python, JAX, Linux CLI, and git.
